Your debt-free date

Assumes a fixed rate and fixed monthly payments, with interest added monthly. A worked example for illustration, not financial advice.
The Debt Payoff Tracker keeps a live debt-free date across all your debts, orders them snowball or avalanche, and shows the payoff plan month by month, in Google Sheets. One-time £6.99, no subscription.
See the Debt Payoff TrackerEach month, interest is added at your annual rate divided by twelve, then your payment comes off the balance. The calculator repeats that until the balance reaches zero and counts the months. It assumes a fixed rate and a fixed payment, so treat it as a close estimate rather than a promise.
Every extra pound goes straight at the balance, so next month's interest is charged on a smaller amount. That saving snowballs month after month, which is why an extra £20 can knock months off the date and a surprising amount off the total interest.
Then the balance never goes down, it grows. The calculator spots this and tells you the minimum monthly payment you'd need for the balance to start falling.
No. The whole calculation runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us, stored, or shared with anyone.
That's exactly what our Debt Payoff Tracker does: list every debt, pick snowball or avalanche, and it keeps a live debt-free date as you pay things down. One-time purchase, in Google Sheets.
